Q: Where can Coval be applied?
Great question! While we used to use Coval, we now use a similar (and improved!) product we call T2. It can be applied over just about any surface, but we most commonly use it to seal and protect bare concrete, stained concrete, and existing or new flake or metallic epoxy flooring. It’s a fantastic option for adding long-lasting protection or reviving worn surfaces. T2 is UV stable and highly resistant to stains, scratches, and chemicals — perfect for high-traffic, outdoor, or work areas. Great question! We schedule our installations over two days to allow for optimal curing time between each coat of Polyaspartic. This extra curing period helps ensure a stronger bond between layers, which increases durability and significantly reduces the chance of issues in the future. While some companies may complete the process in a single day, we believe the additional time leads to a more reliable, long-lasting result.

Q: Do I have to have everything off of the floor for the day of installation?
Hello! Yes, we ask that all belongings are removed from the floor on the day of installation. There's no need to worry about cleaning the surface beforehand—just have the space cleared, and we’ll take care of the rest. Q: How soon can you start using your new floor after the installation?
A. We want to ensure your concrete coating can cure fully. Below is a general rule of thumb: 1 Day (24 hours) after completion: ***DO NOT USE*** Do not walk on or set any objects on the floor. Doing so will result in failure of the Polyaspartic coating system to properly adhere and may create a visual defect in the surface of the coating. 2 Days (48 hours) after completion: **LIGHT USE** Light foot traffic and moving in light items that weigh less than 100lb is ok. Parking vehicles or placing heavier objects on the floor is strongly discouraged and result in failure of the Polyaspartic system to properly adhere and may create a visual defect in the surface of the coating. 3 Days (72 hours) after completion: *NORMAL USE* Parking vehicles and replacing heavy items that weigh more than 100lb is ok. Return to normal use. The Polyaspartic system is fully cured and properly adhered to the concrete.
